All things were created by God and for God. God, the Great I am, created everything for Himself. For His purpose. For His glory. In His likeness. In His image.
“For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all things were created by Him, and for Him.” Colossians 1:16 (KJV)
God has a purpose for everything moving and not moving in the heavens and on earth. With that being said, you were also created for Him and His purpose. Whether you fulfill that purpose or not, you are still His workmanship. (Ephesians 2:10) You are the clay and He’s the Potter. He will always get the glory from whichever way you choose to live your life. Another note to take from this scripture is love your body that God has created. Love every flaw you think you have or not have. Love every dimple. Love every cellulite or firmness on your body. Love the straightness, crookedness, or gap in your teeth. Love the thinness or thickness of your hair. Love every limp or swish in your walk. Love every shape and form of your body. Love it if no one else does. Don’t allow anyone else to point out imperfections about your body. If they have an issue with the way you look, tell them to take it up with the Lord!
