Tyra E. Rowell has a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies from Mississippi University for Women and an Educational Specialist degree in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. She is licensed as a School and Vocational Counselor in the state of Mississippi. She has obtained her National Certified Counselor credentials from National Board of Certified Counselors as well as her certifications in Pastoral Counseling from Sarasota Academy. She is an ordained minister of the state of Mississippi with a heart to serve and help others.
She has worked in the School Counseling field since 2006. She is an Adjunct Instructor  teaching Child Psychology and Human Growth & Development. She has authored and self-published three books, Unapologetically Being Me, Writing through the Valley, and Anything She Says. She is currently working on the second book of the Instant Prayer Series. She is also the  Founder & CEO of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called Issues of Life, Inc. It is a place of counsel which ministers to the whole person: spirit, mind, and body.
